What was the price? I stopped a couple weeks ago and the local Wal-mart had .223 boxes of 45gr varmint ammo that was pretty pricey.

None that I've been to here in MD have any. I was in Roanoke, VA over the weekend and cleaned out 2 separate Wall-Marts though. As I recall, it was $7 something a box.

$7.73 a box of 40. The 45 grain is $11-something. And the 50 gr federal 200 rounds per box is $49-something.

I just might have to start my pilgrimages to WallyWorld again. That stuff really shoots nice in my Sporter. That and the cheapy DVDs. I don't think I've ever come out without a couple of dollar DVDs or $5 dvds, even if I only watch them once that aint a bad price.
