Have any pics of it in actual use??
Anybody need it?  Want it?  Shoot me an email.

M249 box.

You can sell it at a good price to people who've bought a Shrike.

I almost said that except the ones I've seen don't have the camo cloth on it

There are two different kinds... the disposible black plastic and the kind picture here.

Usually SAW ammo is distributed in the 200 round black plastic boxes.  You can't really carry more than two of those, so the third one is split up and put into two 100 round nutsacks.

Looks like a really blurry picture, but I could be mistaken.

thanks guys, i figured it was prolly some kinda belt feed or brass catcher.

So this is .556 then?

How much is it worth?

Any pics of one in use?   I guess i could try and do a search.

It's probably worth a lot to some GI in the sandbox. Not trying to guilt-trip you or anything, but back when I was an automatic rifleman I would've strangled the newest FNG to get an extra 'ambush' pouch for my piglet.

Those babies are far superior to the disposable plastic 200rd boxes that linked M855 comes in. A lot of the time those plastic boxes don't really clip securely to the receiver and fall off. They're also noisy as shit with the ammo rattling around inside unless you want to crack every box open that you get and slide a piece of cardboard in there.

The cloth ones are smaller, easier to carry, quieter, more secure, and easy to load. I would've rather had six of those cloth pouches than 3 of the plastic boxes. As it was, in my unit each automatic rifleman got one of those pouches and were lucky to get that.

ETA:

That's a nice Buck Rogers barrel on that piglet above..
