The bill didn't pass.
If you read the text of the bill it would have made possession of ammo without serial numbers illegal in a few years ... yeah whatever ... sure makes me worry
. Any ammo that I would use to shoot in public would be serialized, the +15,000 rounds of centerfire ammo I currently have would be doubled before the law took effect and 30,000 rounds can kill a whole butt ton of invading zombies ... whatever. I don't do a whole lot of drive-by shooting or bank holdups in a given week so those 30,000 un-serialized cartridges would last me a long long time.
Don't repeat this idea as we wouldn't want real gang bangers and bank robbers to take my idea. They would face months and months in jail if they got caught shooting someone with a non-serialized bullet or using a brass catcher. Heck we could invent a gun with a revolving cylinder which kept its cartidges until ejected at a later date ...
It kind of not hard to be smarter than the dumbass politicians ... not hard at all. And once you're wet the water is fine.
