A buddy of mine took these pics at our local HEB guarding the gas pumps. Looks like one of them had an AR. Never seen these guys before. Kinda cool.

LaGrange, Tx

Any of you Houstonians drive through LaGrange last weekend?

That would be my response #1. My response #2, however, is "Holy crap! If I design a vaguely menacing logo that includes words like 'strategic' and 'security,' and stick it on a newish car or truck, I can do pretty much anything I want to!"

Yeah, it was kinda cool....

Inside the HEB things got out of control, people taking things from other peoples buggies, fights, ect. There was NO food or water left in the store. Amazingly there was only beer. There were probably 500 cars in line at this staion and things could have easily gone south there too. But these guys were there and kept everything under control.

At least someone was there to help.. I cant even imagine how many evacuees we had going this town last weekend, and even now as they head back home. We are lucky to even have gas in this town right now.

They are department of Homeland Security Vehicles.  I have a link to a pdf file that has every vehicle in their inventory.  They are Feds.
