I've had mine in my safe for 12 years now.  How long do they last?  Is there a fire risk?

Ummm its been plugged in continuously for 12 years and now you are asking if there is a fire hazard??
Is it still warm? They are UL listed so they are pretty safe... Mine has been there for a while now and it still works fine!
