I just read a thread where someone referred to Matt Drudge as a joke. I don't always agree with him, but his site seems to me to put-up reliable news sources most of the time. And for some reason, lots of closet libs here seem to think that Fox's "Fair and Balanced" claim is a joke. (Like ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, etc are somehow "balanced" AT ALL!) And the words "tin foil" come-out a lot here when someone quotes sources like News Max and World Net Daily. So just where the crap do you genius' get your news from? I prefer to get mine from the sources with a conservative slant and then decide for myself if I think they are correct. I'll be DAMNED if I'll believe ANYTHING that comes out of the socialist propaganda machine (ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN). I just thought I'd ask because so many here seem to think that conservative news sources are a joke. And the liberal ones aren't? And none of this "I don't believe any of them" stuff either. Because if that's the case, then you cannot discuss current events because you don't believe any of the sources for them. What say you? (And dang I hate using O'Reilly'isms cause he's a dufus half the time.)

I think Drudge is pretty quick with the news, and it is reliable.
However, since he started using aggressive pop-ups, I pretty much stopped going to the site.

I get most of my news from The Daily Show with John Stewart.  I find it hilarious and soooo liberal it makes me bust a gut.  Whatever I hear on that show, I take with a pound of salt and believe the opposite to be true.  I am usually dead on.  I of course fact check with Fox News to be safe.

AR15.com has it straight from the horses mouth - guys who are there post about events.

I don't watch Fox because I hear just as much bullshit there as CNN.
Fox reports many stories that CNN wouldn't but they still have their axe to grind.

ARFcom & Fox (but the latter only if there is something interesting worth seeing - like a chase in LA)

Seriously, you figure there are more people tuned into to local events on here (and will post em) and don't have to worry about interrupting coverage of the Michael Jackson trial or some other such nonsense to break a story.

We should have some sort of a siren button or something when something really really important happens...

Whoooop! Whoooop! ARFcom Alert! ARFcom Alert! Whoooop!

I get my news from AR15.com

I shit you not, I'm on this board a lot while at work so if something happens and it's big I hear about it here first. If I'm not at work well i'm not usually around a TV so I end up hearing about it here the next day. Or I might catch a little something on Fox News when I flip thorugh all the "news" channels before I turn in for the night.
