My wife got an email from one of our close friend's today, she wrote her mother's dog had died.

The vet said it was liver failure, poisoning from antifreeze.

They searched their house for a week to find a source.

Finally they concluded it was the floor cleaner Swiffer Wet Jet.

A call to the manufacturer confirmed their beliefs. Chemicals are very close to antifreeze.

The vet said the dog probably licked it off it's paws after walking on the floor. Probably wet.

Another friend of theirs who used the same cleaner had 2 cats die of unknown deaths.

The Swiffer people said there is a warning on the box about children and pets.

I thought I had to pass this on to my fellow ARFCOMers. I know alot of you love you pets.

Propylene glycol is an interesting chemical.  It is broken down to easily metabolized chemicals like lactic acid.  Completely harmless.

Sad to see someone caught in a full-blown lie.

Your wife's close friend's mother's dog didn't die, did it?

They didn't call the manufacturer, did they?

The vet never said the dog probably licked it off his paws, did he?

A friend of your didn't have 2 cats die of  unknown deaths, did he?

The swiffer people don't have a warning on the box, do they?

This one is getting pitiful.  May be time to pull the plug.  I'll keep an eye on it.
