While out driving today I switched over from my iPod to FM to catch some news and stumbled across an ad that nearly made me drive off the road.
It was for a GUN RANGE.  It was for an esablished range here in San Diego (American Shooting Center www.gotammo.com/ ). It was on a major FM station (101.5 KGB). 30 second spot, very professionally done. I say again, this is in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA on FM radio in PRIME DRIVE TIME. Holy shit! |

I bet they paid dearly for that spot. We couldn't afford spots on popular radio in Phx. We had to do the conservative AM radio at my gun shop.

Were you driving a Gremlin?
Good for the gun range and for San Diego. Haven't seen an AMC Gremlin for a while. Some had a 390 engine. Always wanted to drive one of those. |
