i want one for my wife's car and it needs to have a pretty good range on it.  We currently have a cheaper style from Best Buy which has a poor range, but i do not know the brand it is.  Help me out; which brand of remote starters work from across maybe 50 yds?

Any of the Viper/Clifford systems have excellent range. You can increase the range by turning off the 'code hopping' feature.
