It was live on the Paula Zahn show on CNN. Very ugly pictures, of mutilated women. It will probably be put up on their site soon. They will rebroadcast her show in two or three hours. It will be the first news segment that they show. |

It is amazing that the "It's Bush's fault" battle cry will continue on even though the local and state governments were completely impotent in dealing with this You cannot blame the situation for this degree of ruthlessness. NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Arkansas National Guard soldiers discovered evidence of the lawlessness among refugees in New Orleans, 30 to 40 bodies inside a freezer at the New Orleans Convention Center, apparently killed violently at the refugee center.
Guardsman Mikel Brooks told the New Orleans Times-Picayune newspaper about the victims as he went through the freezer Monday. He pointed out victims young and old. One, an old woman, he remembered escorting into the Convention Center himself. Another was a seven-year-old girl with her throat cut. Captain Kristine Munn of the Arkansas National Guard said she had seen the Times-Picayune report but hadn't had a chance to talk to the soldiers yet. She said the report appeared correct. A person was killed yesterday here in Meridian, MS at the 1st Baptist Church. Throat was cut. I don't know the details, but it was related to the refugee situation. (1st Baptist is one of the shelters).

I remember talk about a makeshift morgue that was established at superdome or convention center in a freezer. That part is old news. The 7 yr old was mentioned here last week, but I haven't seen anything in MSM about it.
I don't remember any beheadings or massacres. It will be interesting to see how the media spins this one.

Just as a reminder to all (myself included), we have to single out those that we're talking about. Not all of the people that were at the Convention Center or the Superdome are animals like the ones that did these awful things. Outraged as I am, we still need to realize that it was MORE THAN LIKELY a small percentage of those temporary residents that did this crap.
