and need to know a few things from Tenn Residents:
I already know that we (Texas) have Reciprocity w/ Handgun License (CHL) carry.
My questions are about Rifles.  Can I bring a rifle with me while traveling to Tenn?
What do the laws state about rifle carry in Tenn and is this do-able?  Tenn folk (in the know) please chime in.....

You should post this in the Home town forum.

Bring your rifle just follow all federal laws when transporting it. Unfortunatly we cannot move about in our own state with loaded rifles. Keep the rifle and ammo seperate.

Yeah but you can't keep it loaded within reach.  If you are in a truck it must be unloaded and ammunition separate.  Not a good idea to carry a rifle.  Where are you going in TN?

If you have your CHL, TN allows open carry, but as always, it's not a good idea.

I could be wrong, but I do believe that if you have a CHL, you ARE allowed to carry a loaded rifle in your vehicle in TN.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
