forgot to take it out of my pocket for the pic...

but who needs a knife for crab legs... the big towel is needed cause those king crab legs got thorns from hell.

Yeah, the towel's from W & S. They make the best kitchen towels in the country - bar none.

extra mags? for what? You think I'm gonna be attacked by more than 9 people?

No, not gonna open them w/ the gun. Take a closer look on the towel again.

It's about half of it. The rest is still in the pot. Local store had a sale on them today. Instead of the normal $25 a pound, they had it for $13.99/lb. I got 3 1/2 pounds. I also had a piece of skirt steak while the crab was steaming. I'm a hungry mofo tonight.

12" pan w/ lid, put in about half inch of water, bring to boil, throw in some McCormick Chesapeake Bay Style Seafood Seasoning. Crab legs in, cover, and steam while boiling for about 10 minutes. Done.

Edit..

As for the Young's Luxury Double Chocolate Stout, "Silky rich and creamy smooth" (and that's just the words on the label), it is one of the finer stouts I've ever had. I try to always keep a couple on hand in the fridge. I highly recommend it.

I had a raspberry beer at the bar a few weeks ago.  Thing had foil on the top, a non twist-off bottle cap and then a cork.  $8 a bottle and it was the best beer I've ever had.

what you had was lambic.. a belgian beer.  It is brewed with different ingredience.

the one you had is called framboise lambic..or raspberry lambic

lindemans makes a few flavors, but kriek lambic(cherry) is my favorite... sooo good.

I beg to differ, but yes, it does go with crab. When the crab claw is the size of a baseball, you need a healthy beer.
