Been at camp wolf for the past month. We were sent there to "get some rest" while we let the rest of the company go out and get some because we had been gettin all the action. The first couple of pics are the drive there and some houses we searched along the way, the rest is all camp wolf junk. Will explain more later.

Excellent! I love these posts of yours. Sonme of these photographs are worthy of magazine covers! Seriously! Excellent work.

Tell me the dirty M16 in the first photo fires just fine, so I can stick it to the AK guys.

Looks like an M16 with a redimag to me, but I've been wrong before.

RustedAce, glad you posted man! It's been too long.

Mercy!

I guess we need to take up a collection to send our troops some feather dusters....Or enough aqua-net to spray everything down so the dust doesn't get so bad....

That first pic makes me cringe. That any gun should be so filthy... *shudder* At least it isn't due to poor maintenance!

I don't care how much you paid me or whether or not the fricking thing was HOLLOW after being rendered inert, you could NOT get me to put my foot on a frigging landmine.

Thanks for the pics - stay safe!

That last pic looks like a East Coast SAM-R - a highly accurate M-16 variant sporting a Krieger barrel, a KAC FF rail, and the ever ellusive KAC folding front sight/gas block.  Reported by some folks to be one of the most accurate M-16s available...

I was looking at that. That front block had me thinking Stoner at first, but as I kept looking,I wasn't sure about the .308. It does have all the Knights goodies though. Front and rear sights, and FF rail.

Not unless JFS is making Redi-mags for .308 mag wells. I suspect it's a DMR rifle, east or west coast type.

To answer some questions:

The hipower is a different one from before, this one was in the house of a former translator who had papers and ID cards and stuff for it.

The M16 covered in dirt worked perfectly fine after, and that is generally what happens when riding through the desert in an open 7 ton, except the people look like that too.

The mine is just a shell, and it is a neat italian plastic mine they have been findding alot of around here.

We were watching tv in some iraqis house we raided during a big op, we watched a bunch of music channels with dancing women then watched tool time in english on another channel, so we didnt just watch womenz programmin.

Can anyone ID the gaint mortar I am holding or the rusted up gun on the pallet?

The rusted heavy MG appears to be a Soviet DShKM of 1946.  It is missing it's top feed cover, I believe.

It is a .51 caliber anti-aircraft weapon and still in service the same as Ma Duece.
