I can't stand the idea of shoveling snow for yet another winter.  I hate the idea of a cold, snowy, rainy 8 month long "misery-season".

I want to move someplace warm all the time, where it is NOT humid, where it doesn't have hurricanes... basically, I want to find "never-winter".

Where should I start looking?  I was thinking Berkeley, CA.

Anyone have any ideas?

You're willing to move to commie kalifornistan? Consider AZ or NM. Not humid, warm all the time, no hurricanes, never winter. And they're gun friendly. Unlike kalifornistan.

Why shovel? Work at home. It'll melt come spring.

So I take it your selling your guns then huh?

Snow vs. ownership??????

Wow if you would even consider that...take a look at Florida first. I know people get scared of storms but ever face a landslide or earthquake? Trust me..you have time to get away from a storm..you cannot do anything when the ground slides out from under you.

Consider this decision...

Check her armpits

Yeah, I did a lot of thinking, and i just don't need guns that much.

I would rather be warm,  with no rain, no rainy season, no 100% hummidity, (which is what eveyone tells me about florida).  Hell, i have been to florida, the gulf coast from tampa all the way down to naples, and it was nice, but even though it was winter you could still feel the hummidity.

Hell, i could have an M1a.

Check Arizona. California is mostly desert anyways, so it wouldn't be much different.

I'm currently in the same position, and more than ready to relocate.
My house is under contract, and hopefully sold.

If all goes well, I'll have 'bout $175,000 in equity to purchase a new home with.
Essentially, by moving/relocating I can acquire a new home in another state
without a mortgage, and without the nearly $4,000 a year in property taxes.

My current home is 56 years old in need of some major repairs.
New roof and heating system.

I narrowed it down to Utah,Texas, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico.
I wanted to make it gun friendly! I'd like to keep my MG's and suppressor's.

Unfortunately for the New Mexico ARFCOMER's, I'll soon be their new neighbor.

Are you sure about the M1A? It has 20rnd magazine!!! Oh the horror!!!

Seriously, AZ sounds more like what you are looking for. Plus, the housing is cheaper and we get all the NFA toys we can afford. (which is zero for me)

I moved to Nevada from California, and it's great.

Home prices here have increased about 50 percent in the last year and a half, though.

Tennessee

It's beautiful here.

Unless you move into the Rocky mts, you'll get snow probably 2 days a year.  The entire area shuts down.  Pretty funny
