Also if they just started dropping crates of supplies it would create a huge stampede and panic. More people will die.

Not to be insensitive, but I heard many of the people seeking shelter came from housing projects. If they are used to the Gub-mint taking care of their every need, why would this be any different. Except in this case the government is powerless to do anything to help. That's why the self-reliant folks aren't out there being victimized by this. |

I think they are letting them sit on purpose.
They shot at the people offering help...you ever hear that old saying "don't bite the hand that feeds you". Now sit there doggie. |
