OK, no one but me seemed to grasp the SHTF aspects of the hurricane. Now you are sadder but wiser. Leaving aside such mirthful suggestions of an AR that comes with paddles, what do you think the best configuration for shooting the hordes of rampaging looters sure to turn up after ANY disaster nowadays? Since it is now apparent thet neither the cops nor the National Guard have the will to do what is needed.

I think a 16" carbine would do nicely. Considering the close nature of such social encounters, perhaps an Aimpoint is called for; but, then again, the ACOG is almost as fast at CQB distances, while enabling you to engage the orcs at a long range, safely outside the range of their Glocks.

I think a simple reliable setup of any type would do it.

Better be careful...I'm sure this isn't a justified killing.
