You are right. Muslim terrorists are easily turned into cannon fodder because they have no purpose in the today's world. They don't have the things we have, they cannot build what we have, so they have no reason to continue. The faster we eliminate them, the better off the rest of humanity - who want to continue living their lives.

Looks like its only the stupid ones at the bottom of the pile that do that.  The terrorist leaders are usually around to take credit for it though... hmmm

Religious fervor.  The same reason the Kamikaze would during WWII, the same reason the Texicans and Tenneseeans fought to the death at the Alamo (don't tell me it wasn't a suicide mission)  The same reason we have a Medal of Honor.

When you care more for you family, community, culture or nation than you do for yourself or you can convince yourself that it is logical to do so for the greater good to an extent that it matters more to you than your own life, then you too could become a suicide bomber.  How many times have we heard of troops jumping on hand grenades to save their comrades?  How many times have we heard of suicide missions?  Wouldn't you give your life for your family?  It is the same thing except that it is not in a defensive mode, it is in an attack mode.  Destroy the enemy before he has a chance of destroying that which matters most to me.  The problem is that the Mullas have convinced too many that we are the enemy by twisting the words of the Koran.

Before you go blaming Islam itself, remember that it is based on Judaeism.  Also, look at things like the branch Davidians of Waco and Jim Jones in Guyana.  There are examples of this in all religions.

That's also because the "type" of religion they teach puts them back in the stone age - look at the condition of the taliban before we stepped on them.  So they went from being master builders in Egypt to scholars in western Europe to cavemen in Afghanistan.  Wow - what a legacy...
