How can I isolate a video clip (MPEG?) from a site and download to a file on my computer without hotlinking to the actual site?

I'm at work and I'd like to email a funny video clip from one of those joke sites, but I can't "Save As" without actually linking to the site. I don't want to download any unnecessary cookies that might be frowned upon by the IT Dept.

Can anybody help out?

If you just have to share this video with everyone then email them a link to the web site.  Attaching and emailing a big video clip to people - especially those on dial-up - will probably prompt them to hunt you down and kill you.  If the IT Dept. doesn't kill you first.

Better yet, don't send it around at all.  I get the same tired old shit shoved into my mailbox every single fucking day by idiots and am constantly replying to this crap with "stop forwarding this bullshit to me you moron" messages.  So do yourself a favor and don't distribute stuff like this, and your friends will thank you for it.
