Are parts interchangeable between Armalite, DPMS and Bushmaster, or are they all different designs?

Dont know about DPMS but there is a diff between Armalite and Bushmaster uppers so Id be real carefull about buying anything thinking it will work on something else.

they are all fairly unique, no uppers or bcg's will interchange,

DPMS and Armalite also use different magazines.

That's what I thought. That's too bad that unlike AR15's there is no standard. In the long run, one could buy an obsolete brand and have difficulty with parts. I imagine there are few AR10s sold anyway.

I wonder which would be the one with the greatest chance at production longevity. Probably Armalite since they started them first.

In addition to the Armalite's chance of logevity, might consider the Bushmaster.

Considering it takes FAL type mags and is backed by a large gun maker, that line should make it relatively long.
