Zero.
All my weapons are made in USA. Except that one made in Germany |

I'm thinking of getting one soon. Is that import ban on parts gonna have an impact on the value of complete Ak's? If that's the case "soon" is gonna be "very very soon".
Well, if you consider that we have a supply and demand economy, and the supply is fixin' to take a hit which will probably result in demand going up then yes, I'd say the price is gonna rise. |

I sold all mine. I decided I'd rather focus on just a vew calibers. (.223, 7.62x51, .40, .45 and .300wm.) And I'm going to be honest, I prefer ARs to AKs. Better trigger, more accurate, I've never had serious reliability issues, and inherently evil.
Not to trash on AKs, there are some very very cool ones out there. I would never turn my nose up at one. |
I slipped that question into 3 AK threads but no one answered. I've debated what to get next, but lately I've been very tempted to pick up an AK. I don't know much about them but after some thought I decided that I've got to get one especially considering how EVIL they are.
A fun shop not far from me always has a few in stock. I'll most likey get the cheapest one with the worst finish on the wood furniture(refinishing wood is easy). |
Which lake did you drop it in? I'm goin' after it! |
I lost my boat in a tragic AK accident!!!! |
Spend the money to get a nice one. |
That's the problem. I don't know what a nice one is other than the finish and condition. I saw one that was labelled an "AK hunter" that had a scope with flip-up covers and dragunov style stock(probably not there anymore). |

VEPR's are the best, followed by Arsenals and then Romanians |

A single Robinson Arms Vepr carbine in 7.62x39 that I could not be happier with!
Check out the ak forum on here. Also never pass up a norinco that is $350 or under. One of the most accurate akm's ever. Awesome triggers too. |

It gives you some extra length. You might need one with that big ass scope of yours. < |

Not enough, I need to buy a few more from fellow Tennesseans.

Right now, I have 4.5
SAR-2 with Bulgarian front-end and Russian triangle folder SSR-85B AK-74 built on Bulgarian kit with an OOW receiver AMD-63 built on bent Tapco flat . . . the .5 is the PLO type 3 thats waiting for the $$$ for a nice milled receiver I just sold off 3 others. I sold a Polish PMK-MS, a '74, and an AMD-65 - - - all built on home folded receivers. If the SHTF, please don't shoot the guy with the black synthetic stocked AKM . . . that's me and I'm one of the good guys, mmmmkay? Disconnector |
2,
But after I start building some more it will be more like 9! |
I own many including an early Galil. Started collecting them in the 80's I am now in full building mode. I just completed a Polish folder that I love. Before the CaliBAN in 2000, I stockpiled/Registered 10 serial numbers as "AK Type". I am building on Tapco flats that I engrave with the registered number. I have 6 numbers left. I'm probably the only guy in California building "legal" AKs from kits right now! |

One currently WASR-10, however I had a VEPR-K 7.62x39 ordered yesterday. I have wanted one for about a year now. I expect prices to rise on them in the next year, so I pulled the trigger.

The Galil is fookin' GORGEOUS! Disconnector |
