This has been going around. It has as much chance happening as Hillary becoming President. ATF says...Once a machine gun...always a machine gun. And we don't want having "machine gun" parts out in the public do we? I wish it would happen though. M14 parts kits!

I'm all for it, however the sale $ for the M1 are off, the are much more than $100
and will it be 50 state legal for the CMP to sell? |

The M-14's were all chopped, the surplus ones that weren't went to the Baltic states.
I wonder how much M-14's go for on the black market in these former Soviet states? I would spend $100 on one.

There are no M-14 to sell out. Most M-14s made were destroyed before 1970. Most of what was left went out in foreign aid. The military needs or will need everyone now in stock. And once a machine gun, always a machine gun. |

Pencil pushing bureaucrats should allow them to de-mil to semi and sell 'em like hotcakes.
I'd be in line in a heartbeat for a DCM authentic M14. |

I keep seeing these M 14 threads pop up and you need to apply a little logic to the situation. Where the hell are all these M 14's you're trying to buy from the CMP? They ain't there anymore.
