I have a Tikka and it is one of the best triggers I have ever shot.
One of my friends just got a savage that has a nice trigger also (not as nice as mine tho  )Savage was less expensive tho |

I have always loved Savage, but what about a Marlin Guide gun in 4570 or 444Ruger?

Get the CZ Model 3. It's actually a Montana Model 1999 action and stock (which is pretty damn good clone of the best features of the pre-64 and post-94 Winchester Model 70s.
If I was headed to Alaska, I'd be toting a pair of identical CZ 550s in 9.3X62 with New England Custom Gun iron sights in addition to the scopes. |

I have the guide gun. I only use it on grizzly hunts. This is a back up gun for caribou

I guess they are all about equal for just a back up hunting rifle.
Does anyone here shoot a Howa? I can get into a nice S/S for around $400 |
