[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Caught a big snapping turtle!

Took a friend's kids fishing today. A big snapping turtle swam right by the boat. I reached out and grabbed it by the tail (almost fell in...) and hauled it out. It was 14 inches across the shell.

Let it go, and it swam to the bottom, but then came back a couple minutes later and hung around the boat for quite a while.

I've never seen one that bold before.

That's not a snapping turtle in the pic....it's a yurtle turtle...

Maybe you guys need to restart your computer.
Could be your setting to. Might want to check to see what you default image viewer is. Go Start - Run - "Explorer" then when that opens go to Tools - Folder Options and see what you jpg/gif image viewer is.

Also might need to check your setting in IE itself under Tools - Internet Options

YA right.

We have some down here you dont want to grab pushing over 50 lbs and wide as a VW. I tried to grab one about 20 lbs and that BITCH yanked his tail in and cut me up. Lucky I had shots for bad stuff.HEHE.
