I have a Shaw barrel on my varmint AR-15. I have no problem with it and it's been very accurate. I shoot prairie rats out several hundred yards with it.

I'll go ahead and say that I've got 2 of their uppers. No problems with M1S or their products. I bought a 20" A3 upper for a recent prairie dog hunt, I'll just say it shoots better than I do. |

Thanks for the input. The reason I'm asking is they have a 24" 6.8 barrel that I want to put on my AR ( pre-ban, I live in CT) Eagle lower. I'm trying to make this my precision " sniper" AR. Any advice or suggestions?

Yeah, spend your time finding your reload materials..... brass, dies, bullets, ......... and enjoy your complete rifle with the ER Shaw barrel. BTW, You're doing just fine. Dave S |

Does anybody else besides Model 1 Sales and E.R. Shaw make 20 or 24 inch 6.8 barrels/uppers?

I just bought a ER Shaw 20" from Grant at G&R Tactical. Great barrel, great dealer. I definitely recommend G&R.
Wouldn't hesitate to buy another ER Shaw product. |

My first Mode1 1 kit with a Shaw barrel turned out to be a sub moa gun. Right now, it shoots better than the 2 OLY SUM barrels I got, and they were double the price.
I bought another Model 1 upper, but haven't shot it yet...I'm hoping it's as good as the first one. |
