one thing i didn't like was the Lt. was complaining to some pfc that he was suppose to be gone during a firefight.  Come one a Infantry PL from 3rd ID would not be pulling that shit

I won't watch it.  I saw some preview for it showing a "dramatic moment" where a taxi with some civilians in it didn't stop and the soldiers were dramatically shouting drama filled lines as they dramatically decided wether to shoot or not.

Give me a fucking break.  There is no drama.  You fucking shoot or you don't shoot.  And in that situation, you would shoot.  Even a haji with no English knows that a rifle pointed at you means stop what the fuck you are doing.  And if troops can't figure it out in a heartbeat, they are some sorry motherfuckers with piss poor guidance from leadership.

Haha, I just ranted about the advertisement.  Maybe the show is better.

Looked to me like standard Oliver Stone 1970's bullshit. The soldiers smoke dope, are all personally flawed, and are awash in personal problems. The Army is rife with racial discord. Discipline is a joke.

I've seen all this leftist hogwash three decades ago. Don't feel any need to repeat it.
