The Fly Lady plan actually does make some sense. You divide up your house into small zones. When you get a chance, clean just one zone. Next time you get a chance, clean another zone. By dividing your housework into manageable areas, it doesn't seem like such a huge chore, and you're more likely to find the time to clean just one room than you are to clean the whole house.

I just have these horrible flashbacks of my dad saying, "You see that piece of fuzz on the carpet over there? No, way over there? Go pick it up and throw it away." F@#king Zone 3 control book cleaning plan... I told her she can clean anything she wants, she can orgainze her day any way she wants, she can do whatever she wants, but if she waves that book at me I'm going to freak out. If you're into flylady nothing personal, but it makes my skin crawl. I hope it works for you. I will, however, not have that woman discussed in my house in my presence. Edited to clean up the language... lady present... |
