Anyone have any info when this gun is going to hit the market and what it will look like? I really hope that when they extend the barrel they don't make a fake suppressor on the front. A regualr barrel will do just fine.

Anyone else plan on buying one??

Later this summer or Fall, from what one FN rep told a member. Guy also said that they were gonna crank out "a metric ton" of 5.7mm

And I want one.

Yeah, ammo is definitly a factor in buying one of these guns, I wonder how many companies will start to produce it?

The body will be a flat black,not the glossy grey thing at the SHOT show. AFAIK, it will have a FH, but I'm not certain on that...

According to FN, they will be mass producing a round very similar to the one they pulled, set to be delivered or at least manufactured over the summer (I guess so it will be out before the P90 comes)

I think they have info on it, as well as the F2000. If you want pics, search the Shot Show 2005 thread. Few pics there. Basically a P90 with a long barrel.

I talked to a FN rep this past weekend and put in an order for an FS2000. They will ship out in early fall, along with the PS90.

I also asked about the availability of the old SS192 round, they said management took a lot of heat over pulling it.....and therefore FN would release the SS195LF...which is balistically IDENTICALLY as the older round but lead-free.

Supposedly the rifle will ship with a 30 rd mag. Some places are already selling 50 rounders ahead of the rifle sales.

Rumor also is that it will be SS195 because they caught so much flack from us for caving to the Bradys on the SS192/SS196 thing.

They are only selling it to be compliant with states that have certain Magazine bans.

I've also been told by an FN rep that Fiocci will be making the 5.7 round domestically, which should bring down ammo prices. Right now all the factory ammo has to be imported from Belgium, which is why its so insanely expensive.

I work at Cheaper Than Dirt, and we must have 100 50 round P90 mags sitting there. There are plenty of hi caps to go around, I wouldnt worry.

As of today. As of the P90s release date nobody will have them (subjectively) for half a year.

Anybody remember the AWB Sunset? Those who didn't place orders for AR related stuffs before the sunset didn't get anything for months. (granted many were waiting to see if the ban acutally DID sunset)

They are in the back of the store. I dont know if they are up for sale yet, but I will check tmw when I go to work. The internet, catalong, and FTW gun store are 3 different companies.
