A friend gave me permission to post this for him:

On Tuesday night I cooked up a nice venison roast.

I served it with garlic mashed potatoes, honeyed carrots and a nice side salad (I totally tipped off the recipe from a friend who was a student chef at the time) of Watercress and Pear with a very light-flavored balsamic vinagrette.

Served with a California Merlot, and voila.

The rifle is obviously a Winchester Model94.

Since some have posted pictures with other hobbies, I should point out that my mother painted the mural, my father and I built the table, and the art-deco sconces which you can just barely see were repaired by myself.

I appologize for the quality of the photography - it isn't my strong suit.

Looks good.  Early Winchester 94's kick ass.  I have one in .30-30.

Try getting closer to the food and firearms for your next photos.  Don't be afraid to fill the frame.
