I'm in the market for another handgun and want to spend around $400. I'd like a Sig 226 or 229 in .40 but I don't think I'd be able to pick one up for $400. I'm thinking maybe an XD40, but want some suggestions on other reliable handguns that are priced relatively low.

you can find police trade in glocks for about that sometimes.

perhaps a used USP or Sig.
You can pick up a NIB USP .40 for around $600. It may be worth the extra $200. |

I already have a USP45 and I don't really have the money to go HK again.

Save up for the sig or try to find a police trade in or somthing like that. It will be worth it.

I would also vote for a CZ75B, the best kept secret in the firearms industry. Before the fall of the Soviet Union people would go through a lot of trouble via Canada to get an authenic CZ75, now we can get the real thing for a mere pittance. Mags are pretty reasonably price also. There is also a 22LR kit from the importer. |

I have bought magazines, sight tools, regular crap. No weapons yet. Other folks on the board have and they seem to be like any other discount house, in that what ever is next in the pile gets sent out. I don't know if they offer "select" or whatever like some folks do.
Overall, I wouldn't worry about it. I think they will take returns if the item is fubar. G23c |
