Back in the 80's, my dad was CINC of the 23AF, special ops and Pararescue.

Those are some bad MOFOS.

Even in the best shape of my life, as a senior in HS preparing to enter the CITADEL, they astounded me.

They forced them to take the standard AF PT testing, 2 mi run, IIRC.

They frigging SPRINTED that entire run.  WAY fast, then just stopped at the end, not all bent over, huffing like I was, and I didn't even nearly keep up with them.

You know that is the deep shit when the crewman is looking out for snipers and not down at the litter.

As Navy aircrew, I thought it was deep when we laced a dogtag in our flight boot so they could ID our bodies if the bird went down, but it's really the DEEP shit when you resort to writing your blood type on your uniform shoulder.
