The only thing about a trophy shop is...

you are transfering possesion of a firearm and therefore dosen't it have to go through an FFL?

That's a good question - unless they can do it while you are standing there, so you aren't really leaving it with them?

Not to be a smart a$$ or anything, but buy an engraver and do it yourself.

I'd practice a lot first though.

You want to engrave aluminum?  Are you going to re-anodize?

If you have artistic talent, get an esel, some canvas, and some oil paint.  Step back from the AR...
