Any nice places to go (micro-brew pubs) or is anyone interested in linking up with a fellow board member to go shooting? I'm there for a damn Company Picnic with a company I am being fired from at the end of the month, so I don't exactly have any desire to rub elbows and hobnob with that ilk.

Please check your email.  I live in San Diego and can recommend a friendly watering hole in my beautiful historic neighborhood of South Park.

I'm pretty busy, so shooting opportunities will be limited to indoor ranges.

Bring a handgun if you haven't left already.  Just make sure it's not one considered an "Assault Weapon" by the PRK.
