Now that he is a "lame duck" Presisdent, how will he be remembered?

Bush Sr is remembered for being a one term President and the Gulf War. Plus "Read my lips, no new taxes."

Clinton is remembered by a blow job.

GW Bush?
-9/11?
-Quagmire in Iraq?
-Outsourcing?
-High gas prices?
-Illegal immigrant invasion?

What will be his legacy?  I suspect he will move somewhat to the (religous) right, and may be remembered for his judicial picks.

Besides specific policy issues I think one thing is that he will be remembered for being a plain spoken man who tells it like it is.  He does not have a manufactured image, at least not to the degree that past presidents and Kerry have. What you see is what you get. You may not like what you get, but nevertheless he doesn't pretend to be someone he isn't.
