I always have a long gun in the vehicle. Also, I live within a mile of the Islamic Society of North America Headquarters, so I'm thinking they probably won't shit their own bed. Enough people hate them around here, and know where they live, that I think if they were going to cause trouble they'd do it somewhere else.

Ewww,its hard not to stereotype in that situation."They" might not shit in there own bed ,but all it takes is one to act a fool.

To have a long rifle is a waste of time for me.In the city theres very little chance you will get to pull it out in time ,the perp usually to close.If he is far enough,then it would be perfect ,but then I would probably go to jail.

Today was the first day I put the AR in the vehicle. I don't ever leave the house without my sidearm, but with everything that's going on...never hurts to be prepared for anything/everything, and it's not like it's taking up a lot of room. I have a feeling that I'll have a long arm in the vehicle from now--I'm just gonna have to build a new rifle for this specific purpose because I don't want to beat this one up too bad.

"One" I don't worry about. Hell, even "Twenty" doesn't give me hives. I normally have enough .45 ammo on me to take care of that. It's when the little fvckers mess with explosives or WMD that I'm going to get worried.

Started when I read some posts here last week. Started carrying full kevlar in a flight bag too when I mentioned this to my LE brother and he says, "Yeah, I might have gotten a TT or two on that.".

I know I remember the pics, its a fort alright. The one that is close to me(15 miles) is made of wood and sits 20 feet off the road. You can even read the sign on the door.

I've got the M4gery in place with H-rig and ammo.

Is it legal to carry an AR and have loaded mags in the same car - as long as the mag is separate from the rifle?

The stock is from Armalite. The barrel was fluted and beed blasted by ADCO.

I don't know about where you are, but here it's legal to be locked and loaded.

in Co you can have a mag in the riflle but not a round in the chamber. With regard to handguns loaded in the car concealed is just fine.
