1-866-OUR-VOTE

Thats his toll free number he just gave out for people to report whatever poll problems he is supposedly on the lookout for.

OVERLOAD IT with bogus claims. Make them chase thier own tail all damm day. Dial it from pay phones (that costs him even more $$) and leave them off the hook.

Great idea.  I would suggest dialing *69, or whatever in your area to prevent them from seeing your number.

You mean *67

*69 tells you who just called you, *67 blocks your number when you call someone else

Hold on people! I just called and this is a NON-PARTISAN number. I asked if they were sponsered by Micheal Moore and the girl said "heck no, most of the calls were from REPUBLICANS". Flooding this line will block republicans from reporting voter fraud by the Democraps.

Edited to remove bold and size=3.

OK Guys:

1-866-OUR VOTE.

That's a hot line set up by the Election Protection Coalition, a group that was formed to identify and stamp out attempts to disenfranchise voters, especially in predominantly black and Latino precincts around the country.

On Election Day in November, the coalition expects to have as many as 25,000 volunteers, including 5,000 lawyers, available to provide assistance to voters who encounter irregularities or feel they are not being treated fairly at the polls. Voters who call the hot line will immediately be put in touch with volunteers in their local area.

The coalition is also urging people to call the hot line now if they are aware of efforts to discourage or prevent people from voting.

Among the groups included in the Election Protection Coalition are the People for the American Way Foundation, the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the League of Women Voters, the N.A.A.C.P., the American Civil Liberties Union and the Advancement Project, a civil rights advocacy group in Washington.

From the worlds largest socialists website himself:

The Election Protection Program

The Election Protection Program is the civil rights community’s coordinated effort to address Election Day irregularities and voting rights violations that lead to disenfranchisement in minority communities. In anticipation of the 2004 Election cycle, the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and the People for the American Way Foundation are leading the most ambitious contemporary voter protection program in the nation. In order for this effort to be successful, our organizations are working with a large group of coalition partners. The coalition has come together with one goal: to ensure that every eligible voter is able to cast a ballot that is accurately counted.

The efforts of the Election Protection Coalition include a hotline that is operational for early voting through Election Day:

   1-866-OUR VOTE (1-866-687-8683)

Okay. It does seem that this number is being pushed by the Dems for the most part, however, it seems to be backfiring on them.

I googled the number and most of the sites are Dem oriented.  YMMV.

I find it more likely they lied to you.

Like Hiram said, if you have problems as a conservative voter call your county GOP headquarters, looking at the list of orgs who set this place up do you really think they would respond to a coservatives complaint? It would be a good thing of a conservative who had a problem couldn't get through, becaus ethen they may try to call someone who will actually help them.

PS Google "1-866-our-vote Moore" and look, Moore has ended all his mass emails pushing this number.

Look, guys if you are republican and see fraud call your county GOP committee... they will all have people taking calls!  Do not trust these people to act on anything if you call, call the GOP!  Would be a shame if people couldn;t get through to the 866 line, that would just be bad.  I trust you all to do the right thing!

+1. Your county GOP board will do more than just refer you to a lawyer. They've been planning for Dem tricks for a while now.
