I wonder how many people have REALLY thought about the ramifications if Kerry steals this election tomorrow.
First and foremost, it will mean that the Michael Moores and George Soros' of the world have won.  They will crow about this and rub it in our faces for years.  The celebrity elite will be smug and satisfied, patting each other on the back at Kerry's inaugural ball.  Imagine Clintonx100.  Imagine Theresa Heinz-Kerry shaking her tush to Jon Bon Jovi at the party.
Second, a Kerry win will drive the Republican Party further to the left.  In 2008, they will likely nominate Rudy Giuliani, an anti-gun liberal Republican.  The party hierarchy will assume they lost because President Bush was perceived as too far to the right.  This will drive conservative voters to third parties which will likely mean Kerry would be reelected in 2008.
Third, Kerry will likely install at least one and possibly two or three Supreme Court justices.  This means that his decisions will effect our lives and OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN'S LIVES for DECADES to come.  Just think about that for a minute.
And finally, and most importantly, Al Quaeda and the other terror groups in Iraq and elsewhere will further learn the lesson that they can influence foreign elections and they will continue to do it, AND get more refined at it.
If Kerry wins tomorrow, the world will change, perhaps forever, and certainly not for the better.

Second, a Kerry win will drive the Republican Party further to the left.

This would be a good thing I think.

John McCain for President in 08
He would beat Hillary.

Well, if Florida wouldn't let 25,000 Ohioans also register down there, maybe it wouldn't be such a problem.

If that were true, Kerry wouldn't be in a dead heat with the president in the polls.  I'm afraid we're on our own.

I also think today's the big day for the terrs if they want to influence the election. Keep your heads on a swivel, kids... and top off your gas tanks at lunch just in case.

I have, and it is much worse that you are predicting:

1. John Kerry will re-join the Internation Criminal Court, allowing American's to be tried by International Judeges under the UN's definition of War Crimes.

2. John Kerry will sign the Kyoto Treaty, holding US manufacturers to a higher standard of environmental protection policies than third world nations with developing economies. This will force companies to move MORE factories overseas, and American jobs will go with them.

3. John Kerry will surrender the US veto power in the UN Security Council (something that the UN has been foaming at the mouth for years to have happen) in a sweetheart deal that will allow Bill Clinton to become the UN Secretary General.

4. John Kerry will end military operations to hunt down and kill terrorists, and shift gears to making the war on terror an intelligence and law enforcement operation.

5. John Kerry will send 70,000 additional troops to Iraq, thereby increasing America's percieved role as occupier and increasing the levels of insurgent violence (the same way that Johnson escalated Vietnam).

6. John Kerry will increase taxes, causing investors to pull back their investments, which will turn our slow growth economy into negative growth, bringing about a recession.

7. John Kerry will appoint 2 Supreme Court Justices who will reverse the court's opinon that Internation treaty does not supercede the US Constitution (justices are already admitting that they use international law as a compass in interpreting the US constitution).

8. John Kerry will implement stronger, CONFISCATORY "common sense" gun controll which will rob people of their Second Amendment rights.

And that's just for starters!

He can't.  The Senate hasn't and won't ratify it.  In that one thing, at least, we are safe.

No matter what everything happens for a reason...if that reason is rebelion...so be it.

Until then, I bought a new Bronco and I am going to enjoy it.

just the opposite, we'd go more right.  Kerry will fuck things up by the numbers for everyone to see, his support is only based on getting W out.  even the MSM will fall on him like a pack of dogs.  The democrats will look back on the backlash of the gun ban fondly.

the point is moot anyway, reps have been taking over the country since 02.  the polls are all seriously wrong.  republicans are hard asses that hang up when solicitors (pollsters) call them.

Yeah, like John McCain is any friend of the gun owning, want-to-be-left-alone American (a dying breed, probably soon to be dying in even larger numbers at an accelerated rate).

The only bright spot in this whole mess is that 1)  Federal spending cannot continue at such profligate rates 2) The boomers retiring is going to send a huge shockwave through the system  3) How much higher can taxes go before lots of people are forced to start opting out?

So if the leftists win, there is no way they can keep up the agenda.  Another party will have to emerge to pick up all the disenchanted people that the control freaks are going to create.  Maybe at that point there is a sincere possibility of reform.   I'm not holding my breath, but just trying to find anything optimistic in our future.

Crap sandwich...

As bad as it would be for the US (And it would be BAD) the "Worst" thing IMHO is the fact that he'll WASTE the next four years (That the world will never get back) talking sanctions and enticements on the nuclear proliferation issue while those governments he's "Engaging" continue to blow he and the UN off and develope their programs.

I doubt we'd go more right as a nation. Bush got the nod in 00 because he was a "Compassionate Conservative"- he went left in key areas to pick up more votes. This sent the Dems even farther left so they didn't overlap and sound the same as the Republicans.

I think you nailed the rest of it though... And I seriously hope you're right on the Reps taking over the country thing.

You have to remember that the MSM and the dems shot Dean in the head before he really picked up steam because they wanted to go more to the middle and get somebody elected.  slick willie stayed in by reforming welfare.  W got the nomination because he was more right than mccain.  I think we're already goin right.

and I think that nothing will swing us right like a war being fought by a fool like kerry.     Even more so if he holds to his pattern and tries to treat it like a 'police action' like slick willie did.  after 4 years (hopefully less) of Kerry the nation would be ready to face reality again and start carting away the bullshit they've been buried in up to their eyeballs.  Everybody will suddenly remember how impossibly well W did things like take afghanistan and iraq and turn them into democracies, kerry's record will fall utterly short and with it the dem's chances for probably 8 years.   which puts us out of the hillary window.
