The NYT was still flogging this story Saturday, some of it apparently trying to answer the information in the Belmont Club article (but not quite all, especially the mixture of HDX and RDX in videos with all sorts of other explosives).

No doubt this was their (LIBERAL MEDIA) last gasp effort and I wouldn't be surprised to see CBS complete their trifecta of journalistic whoredom for the month by going with it one last time. Both these old industry giants are losing their grip...

National Public Radio in Boston, which upto now has sometimes actually been somewhat evenhanded, is showing their true colors and going whole hog anti-Bush this weekend.

They have a running story about undecided voters, where the NPR interviewer repeatedly has the
final say in arguments over several months with an undecided voter, and today they were playing
the audio of the Frontline story that's been running on PBS, which is very unflattering for Bush, and
pro-Kerry in it's spin.

My NPR station lost it this weekend and had a three hour BBC call in show about the elections that pre-empted regular programming Saturday afternoon. I think I heard that same story about the undecided voter, on This American Life, that's a weenie show anyway.

I had heard the same thing as HiramRanger about 60 minutes doing a story about the "missing" explosives. I bet they were dieing to slam W to show they weren't "afraid" after having slandered him once already. 60 Minutes is a joke, it's not even journalism, watch how they photograph people. If you're the "poor guy wronged by big company" they photograph you outside and show you from waist to head, if you are "evil employee of big company" then they get you inside and zoom in so it's practically just your eyes and nose showing.

OK, the blame is going on Congress for pork barrel spending that the prentagon has to pay for and can't cut, so the pentagon has to raid the training and spare parts budget to cover the pork... At least we have some spin!

What I took from it was only the National Guard was suffering the equipment & armor issues, Congress's pork barrel spending was eating up the funds ment for improving the NG's equipment.

What's everyones take on Andy Loonie's comments? I wasn't listening to every word but it seemed he favored GWB?

Two commentaries on seeBS Sunday Morning. The commentator in favor of GWB spoke with intellegence, the african woman, Nancy?? in favor of Kerry, spoke like a clueless ass.

Rooney is a Kerry supporter big time, but 60 minutes took a beating on memogate, I think they are trying to cover-ass a little. And yes, they did focus on national guard shortages caused by pork barrel spending. The key is Congress took the hit.
