Currently I'm awaiting a 700 rd package of 7.62x39 and 100 stripper clips from AIM.
This weekend I'm going to a gun show and will pick up 1,000 more if I can find a deal. My brother's friend's mom's live in male friend got busted for meth and got his guns taken, ammo left behind. I may be able to score up to 5,000 rounds of 7.62 for pennies. I'm going to hit wal-mart up for 500 more 9mm, and probably 3,000+ of .22, and another couple hundred 12ga. On hand: 7.62x39: 0 12 ga : 300 9mm : 1,000 .22 : 3,500 |

More than you, in those calibers. And a whole lot more calibers. I won't be buying any ammo this week. Not planning on doing any shooting. |

I have that much in my truck!
Seriously..I have close to 5K of .22LR 1.5K .223 750 .308 about 6-700 7.62 x 39 a few hundred for various calibers (for .32Win Spl, 8mm, .30-06, .17 HMR) and roughly 100 1oz slugs, and several hundred various shot sizes in steel and lead About 100 .54 cal balls, about 40 .54 cal buffalo bullets, at least 2 lbs of black powder 100+ .357 I think that is about it. |
I have about 2,250 rounds of mixed calibers.
7.62x39 - 360 .223 - 1,000 9mm - 200 .45 -100 .38 Special - 25 .380 - 50 .22 LR - 400 12 Gauge - 100 I've been meaning to stock up on 7.62x39, .38 special, and 12 gauge shells |
not enough... approx:
1.5k 5.56 500 .45 100 12 gauge slug 500 12 gauge 00 buck 100 12 guage assorted... definitely not enough... need more mags too... |
Had a whole bunch... but my wife and I shot it all up..
Time to reload some more... Having a Dillion means megatons on ammo... I usually order components in lots of 10k-25k.. that's the only way to make it worthwhile.. When the AWB perspired the wife and I went full cap nuts at the range... |
More than all the numbers in this thread put together.
Less than I want. |
[armchair commando mode on]
I have 1 round. 1 well placed shot will get you 30 at least. Then 1 from that 30 will get you another 30 at least. Now you do the math. [/armchair commando mode off] |
ammoman always wins this thread. If he posts a picture, you will be amazed.
um, about 1k in mixed cailbers, 10mm, .45, 9mm, .308, .223, 7.62x39, 7.62X54, .35, .30-O6

I take 1/3 - 1/4 of every ammo purchase and stash it. More than likely, my wife will have a lot of ammo to sell when I die. I buy ammo every month, whether I "need" it or not.
I honestly don't understand the people who don't store some amount of ammo at home. When you most NEED it, do you really think you're just gonna call up old ammoman and wait for Big Brown to pull up a couple days later? Don't get me wrong, I don't wear the foil like MANY folks on this site, but stashing a little ammo can't possibly be a bad thing. To answer the question, it sounds like I have more ammo than a lot of guys who have posted, but less than I want. |
Less then you Waiting on getting a new job before I buy more ammo.

You guys need to get serious about getting some ammo. I bought 7,000 rounds just this week. 3,000 9mm and 4,000 .223.
5,700 308
7,000 45acp 3,000+ 22lr 4,000 223 2,000 7.62/39 enough to reload about 4,000 308 1,500 45 500 44mag |
You can never have enough ammo.
Stage 1: You should at least be able to load every mag you have for every gun you own Stage 2: Same as stage one plus enough to reload each mag for each gun once Stage 3: A case of ammo for each gun Stage 4: Ability to reload on premises enough for the Well Regulated militia to be at stage 2 |
Box of .22 for my 10/22 and 6 rounds of .38 - already loaded. I'm crazy I tell ya.
Wow, I'm going to have to think about that.

Thanks for reminding me. I just ordered a few hundred more rounds of .308!
Oh wait, I actually have a couple hundred rounds of 7.62x39. I'm very low in 9mm, though, less then 100. |

LEGAL LIMITS!!! You are kidding...right? There are actually limits to the amount of ammo you can own in that fucked up state? Say it isn't so! <<Many years ago, I used to live in Boston...I KNOW that place is full of socialist asshats...but really!>> |

Slug - 50rds 12ga. Tact. Buckshot - 100rds LC XM1911 - 1,000rds Stocked up on the M193 last year in anticipation that IMI ammo would no longer be available for some while due to the war. I do wish I had invested in another case or two of the IMI M855. The Aussie F4 is great ammo. It's all I feed to my CAI "R1A1" FAL (I lucked out, my Angry Beaver special works. It's from AIM featuring a Rhodie kit, CAI receiver & new barrel.) I figured I'd get as much of the Aussie .308 (some in cans, in bandoleers on strippers/some in bubble wrap) while it is still available. With rumors of LC .308 coming to market via Ammoman, I guess my .308 stocks will increase further. The Swiss GP11 is to feed my two K31s. What an sweet rifle. I figure (hope?) that 940rds of this great, but unique, ammo will last me a good while since I don't reload. The Ruskie 7.62x39 rounds are in spam cans for the most part. Used to feed my Yugo SKS and SA M7(S). Living in an unfree state, you never know what the politicians will ban next. I figure I might as well stock up now while I still can (and have the cash to do so). |

My UPS guy dreads coming to my office because the box may be VERY HEAVY!
I like ammo.
Small hint-- .50 BMG--1,500, plus components for 2,500 more. .223--15,000+ (dunno for sure) Several other calibers. Working on more all the time. Our house is like a sporting goods store. God bless my patient, tolerant, loving, likes-the-same-stuff, wife. |
Not after I put in my order with him next week. |
Piker! |
LOL I guess I have around 1,000 rounds. half 9mm, half .223 I know I need more. Scott |
