Just got done watching it .
My review would be , Its like ....... Hellboy , played by Indiana Jones on the set of Underworld . I liked it

I also watched it tonight. I give it a 7 for hot chick, and good action. Alittle too far fetched for my tastes though.

Hot chicks, guns, knives, swords, monsters, automatic crossbow, more monsters, excellent special effects, Gothic settings, bigger than life acting, chase scenes, and non-stop action makes this pretty much not the flick of choice for the sensative heart who loves character development or want to be intellectual who seeks a deep plot.
If you are a redneck just looking for some pure escapism and eye candy, you will love the flick. If you are a scifi head, you have to give it two thumbs up the way they tied the original books and movies to the plot. It's kind of super monster hunter meets Mr. Hyde, Dracula, The Wolfman, Frankiensteins Monster, and Draculas minions. I liked it enough to buy a copy. Tj |

VERY GOOD FLIX. I liked it enough to get the special edtion with the 3rd disk being all the orginal movies. it has some great extras on it about how they tie togther and what the director was going for. but i also own hellboy and underworld both versions the first releae then the other release with extra footage. if it has a Vamp in it i own it. I thought Van Helsing was kind of in the vein of The Mummy. A fun, yet far fetched fun movie.
And seeing Kate Beckinsale in tight clothing pretty much the whole movie, was GREAT. I would DEFINITELY hit that. Twice. Just to be sure. |
