With ruger, and colt leaving us cold (whether as part of a long term plan of theirs to not piss off washington or on purpose to screw us - whatever)  What in the f$#k can be done?

letter writing ain't gonna do crap, boycotting is NEVER gonna happen to two quality companies - plus the RKBA community coulnd't do that - and the other mag manufacturers either can't, won't or aren't doing anything worthwhile bout it!

Theonly great news that I've seen is that EAA started selling factory saiga hi-caps.   For yo no-banners - how good does that feel!  I WANT THAT FEELING!!!!!

My ar9mm and mini14 demand factory hi-caps.  (okay, other peoples need new ones so i can buy their old ones.....)

Don't buy them.  Let the marketplace vote.

I have 4 (pre-ban for y'all) Mini-14 mags I will trade you.

I have no need for them as I do not have a Mini-14.

Just IM me if you are interested.

In terms of the mini14 I got it for 350.  preban underfolder.

You could sell me a piece of feces if it is a preban underfolder for 350.  again and again and again.

Ruger never made a factory underfolder. Even the GB type, which was made only under .gov contract were side folders.

Form a company and manufactiure your own mags and sell them at the price you'd like to pay.
Get rich, make a name for yourself, undercut the competition, shake up the current players.

And don't forget to become a class II manufacturer while your at it...then your company can buy all the brand-spankin'-new full auto guns you've always wanted, P90's, whatever...for research and development.  And then the company writes off those purchases as a business expense and you pay yourself a consulting fee for testing those firearms.

Your underfolder is a old Federal Ordnance unit.  Got one on my truck gun; barrel chopped to 16.25", Millett peep sight, great compact unit.  Granted, it's a "minute of pie plate" gun, but for a truck beater it does just fine.  As far as mags go, check out Thermold mags.  I've been using them for years in my Mini, never had a single malfunction.

i take it my barrel ain't 16 inches then?  I want to cut it even shorter and then make up the difference with a muzzle brake.  But then comes the wisdom of putting money into a beater.

The ban will not sunset, there is no way.  Just buy all the preban mags now before they all rust away.

You should definetely paint it black with a red stripe on it to match the van....

Don't forget your cigar either!

Natchez has Promag polymer 20 and 30 rd Mini-14 mags in their October sale catalog, also AR-15 9mm 32 rd polymer. However they also hava a disclaimer, " The high capacity magazines listed on this page are subject to delivery by the manufacturers".
