Is there a reason why most guns have a right twist?

Because it's better than a wrong twist.

A left twist makes the bullet dizzy and it wobbles on the way down range.

A left twist makes the bullet flip flop before it strikes media, vote to invade a media and then vote against invading said media and finally look like a dipshit while playing sports.

Because we live in the northern hemisphere.

You're just looking from the wrong end...

It doesn't matter if it is a left-hand or a right-hand twist, the only thing important is that the twist ratio is adequate to stabilize the bullets you are shooting.

Lee-Enfields IIRC are left hand twist and they worked just fine killing Huns by the bushel in two World Wars.

Probably more force of habit since most screws and such also have a right hand twist.

However, a right hand twist does have a slight advantage in a firearm where the barrel is screwed into the frame with a right hand thread, namely that firing the weapon tends to tighten the barrel into the frame.

I used to have a Colt revolver that had a loose-fitting barrel with a left hand twist.  Whenever, I shot it, the barrel started to unscrew.
