A left twist makes the bullet flip flop before it strikes media, vote to invade a media and then vote against invading said media and finally look like a dipshit while playing sports.

It doesn't matter if it is a left-hand or a right-hand twist, the only thing important is that the twist ratio is adequate to stabilize the bullets you are shooting.
Lee-Enfields IIRC are left hand twist and they worked just fine killing Huns by the bushel in two World Wars. |

Probably more force of habit since most screws and such also have a right hand twist.
However, a right hand twist does have a slight advantage in a firearm where the barrel is screwed into the frame with a right hand thread, namely that firing the weapon tends to tighten the barrel into the frame. I used to have a Colt revolver that had a loose-fitting barrel with a left hand twist. Whenever, I shot it, the barrel started to unscrew. |
