It seriously doen't suck.  It is one of the best songs of all time.

ETA - It needs more cowbell though!

Such a good song, I'd love for someone tell me it sucks.

Okay.

It sucks.

Not my opinion, but you wanted someone to tell you!

Words to live by.

"Philosiphize with him Ted!"

"All we are is dust in the wind, dude."

Kansas has some really good stuff.  Carry On My Wayward Son, The Wall, Cheyenne Anthem, Point Of No Return (or was that Kerry Livgren?).

It doesn't suck, as it were. I'll leave it at "It's OK". Sweet acoustic guitar work.

It's grossly overplayed however, and I've heard it a few too many times. I usually switch stations when it comes on.

I met a guy who believed that "Blinded by the Light" was the greatest song ever, period. Strange fellow, he was...

Greatest lyrical jumble perhaps, but not the greatest song by a long shot.  How anyone can deliberately change the station when Dust In The Wind comes on is beyond me.  I change the station when they play anything by the Eagles though, usually Hotel California.  Once an hour is way too much at this point...

I saw Kansas in concert in the '70s (by themselves), the 80's (in a stadium with Joan Jett, Survivor, and REO Speedwagon), and just a couple of years ago (with the Doobie Brothers).  Even with the "cast changes" over the years, still a great live band IMHO.
