Everyone getting psyched?
Bush needs to perform tonight,
The Oil for Food shit needs to be pounded into peoples heads tonight as the reason that the french did not join with us and nothing that Kerry says will make them come to the table. If he connects with this he will win. He is in a good forum for this. I am cautiously optimistic. |
cheater!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW, be sure and add a poll as soon as its over, feel free to use my categories if you wish: in the debate: GW raked that no good sorry motherfucker across a bed of broken, salted glass john fucking kerry, the nutsack with a chin, won yet-a-fucking-gain too close for comfort either fucking way i either vote to see the results or im just a braindead moron motherfucker lucky enough thus far to remember to take another breath after the previous........... |
I'm warming up the sofa now...
Let's hope W takes the gloves off and really goes head on against flipper... |
I hope Bush learned about his enemy from the last debate.
Prayers sent for a strong performance!! Hope you all will do the same! |
I hope Kerry brings up the latest report about the lack of WMDs in Iraq...all Bush would have to do is remind everyone that Kerry saw the same intelligence and came to the same conclusion about Saddam...SO THERE!
I am taking a nice long drive and listening to the debates on the radio.

I would like Bush to point out that the faulty intel can be traced back to Kerry's votes to cut the intel services in the 90s.
Something like: "I didn't mislead the American people, Senator Kerry. I made the best decision I could based on the intelligence provided to me from the intelligence services that had their budgets cut over and over again thanks to you." |
Light blue as usual. But I hope he goes with a dark red tie instead. |

This just appearing on Drudge. Check this out, it is unbelievable!!!!!!
(Mark Halperin is ABC News Honcho) Halperin Memo Dated Friday October 8, 2004 It goes without saying that the stakes are getting very high for the country and the campaigns - and our responsibilities become quite grave I do not want to set off (sp?) and endless colloquy that none of us have time for today - nor do I want to stifle one. Please respond if you feel you can advance the discussion. The New York Times (Nagourney/Stevenson) and Howard Fineman on the web both make the same point today: the current Bush attacks on Kerry involve distortions and taking things out of context in a way that goes beyond what Kerry has done. Kerry distorts, takes out of context, and mistakes all the time, but these are not central to his efforts to win. We have a responsibility to hold both sides accountable to the public interest, but that doesn't mean we reflexively and artificially hold both sides "equally" accountable when the facts don't warrant that. I'm sure many of you have this week felt the stepped up Bush efforts to complain about our coverage. This is all part of their efforts to get away with as much as possible with the stepped up, renewed efforts to win the election by destroying Senator Kerry at least partly through distortions. It's up to Kerry to defend himself, of course. But as one of the few news organizations with the skill and strength to help voters evaluate what the candidates are saying to serve the public interest. Now is the time for all of us to step up and do that right |
That would ROCK!!! |

ABC is going to hang for this if a copy of the memo exists and falls into somebody's hands.
Tx... I'll leave the after debate poll to you... seperate thread... this will be the running commentary thread. |
I hope President Bush makes the following statement when Kerry says the war in Iraq is a diversion and Saddam Hussein didn't attack us on 9/11:
"Hitler didn't attack us at Pearl Harbor. But we knew then we needed to confront Fascism wherever it was in the world. The same applies today in the war on terror. Saddam Hussein didn't attack us on 9/11, but we had to confront him and ensure he never had the chance to hurt Americans. You, Senator, can't be trusted to defend America." |

Dubya Really needs to shove the knife in Skerry and twist the blade. Dick stuck it into his opponent, but he didn’t go all the way. Dubya better not blow it this time; the polls are too close. |
after watching the 1st two i'm almost afraid to watch this one lol
Dick Morris has been advising this for a week, so its not likely he will say it because the response from the left will be Bush has no original ideas, he is taking his talking points from a political operative we fired because of his relations with a DC prostitute. However, I'd love to see this! Its a great line. |
Uh huh. Cheney walked all over Edwards... thanks for visiting DUh troll... |
I thought Cheney did an excellent job. Bush needs to be sharp this time. Pray. Seriously, pray. |
I can't claim it as original, as I too took it from Dick Morris. Regardless, it is still a great line and absolutely true. |
I thought Cheney kicked ass, I just don't want GB to screw up
I really hope there is some focus on Kerry's Senate record. There isn't any way he can defend his record of being on the wrong side of every major issue.
Count on it, Cheney started priming that pump Tuesday... Expect to see voted for tax increases, voted to cut intelligence and defense spending, opposed death penlaty for terrorists, attendance at intelligence briefings and votes. |
Most of these folks in the audience are supposed to be "undecided".
In other words, they are morons. |
.. warming up the TV tubes and manipulating the rabbit ears now
Drink poured, TV on.
Not looking forward to seeing Kerry's ugly mug. |
Ugh, I cant watch. I just can't. So much is riding on this election, and Bush is such a god-awful speaker.
Those people in the audience LOOK like Dems. Ugly. Dejected. Blank eyed.
