I got one just to say I had one. Dunno if I will ever actually use the thing. Someday, I will have to go camping for the first time in my life...

I like a Tanto blade myself.
I have seen one Kabar that had a Tanto blade and a Kydex handle, I might get one for my birthday. |

Have to say that I have at least one Kabar Knife since I was 10yr old and I wouldn't fear putting my life in the hands of a Kabar. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST sheath knife you can buy for the money, hands down.

Two here, old standard and newer Warthog, both tough knives properly tempered IMO, although Cold Steel makes better knives, (they cost more) but any knife collector worth his salt should have a few Kabars.
