Quoted: The general rule of thumb is, if the auto manufacturers themselves dont offer a product on thier vehicles, it doesnt work. Have you ever seen a factory vehicle with these electric superchargers? Me either. Dont waste your money. Buy a chip or a NOS kit.

When was the last time Ford or GM offered a chip or a NOS kit?

"GENERAL rule"
But to answer. SVT Cobra's, I would bet, are not using the factory ECU code. The Vettes use a more aggresive ECU coding then the Camaro's did too I would bet. Then you can compre the Z06 to the standard Vette. The rule applies in regards to the rinky dink shit on the market, like Tornado fuel boosters and gimmick HP gains. Its well known and documented that chips and NOS boost horsepower. They also dont cost 30 bucks like the crap on Ebay or off TV. Because to get real HP you have to spend real money.
Believe it or not, it IS in the auto manufacturers best interest to implement products which wouild improve the economy/performance of a car. A prime example is those Tornado intakes that improve milage. Dont you think if auto manufacturers could improve the milage with 5 bucks in plastic intake add ons they'd be all over it?
