I don't care if we are paying 100% as long as we are busy killing terrorists on their own turf. Whatever the price, it's worth it to keep them out of our country.

I should be up there, as the proper response to this is: "America generally pulls more than it's 'share' of weight, because we are the only superpower left. I for one will not decline our power position because it comes with some extra responsibilities."

I wonder if the thousands Iraqi civilians, National Guard, and Police killed by the terrorist and insurgents would agree they paided no price… But then they cannot speak.

Cheney mentioned it in the debate. CHENEY: Well, Gwen, the 90 percent figure is just dead wrong. When you include the Iraqi security forces that have suffered casualties, as well as the allies, they've taken almost 50 percent of the casualties in operations in Iraq, which leaves the U.S. with 50 percent, not 90 percent. |
