I remember PMCS Preventative Maintanence Checks and Service. I remember the term PCM wich was Pulse Code Modulation, in the military we normally were reffering to a specific cable when we used it, in the civilian world I have used it alot in its proper context, but PCI I do not remember using, then again there were so many acronyms that I can't remember alot of them right off the bat.
ETA: Yep what they said, I remeber it well now. Like I said there were hundreds of them in the military. |

Here's a new version i heard from my CSM. He calls it PEC, Pre-Execution Checks. Just incasr your mission is not a combat mission I guess.

PMCS- Preventitive Maintenance Checks and Services, basically checking your shit for broken parts, operability; done on a regular basis
PCI- Pre Combat Inspection, inspection done by leadership before a mission to ensure that the men are properly briefed, have the proper equipment, weapons are ready, commo works, etc., by definition done at a platoon level or higher PCC- Pre Combat Checks, same as PCI, but done by Team Leaders and Squad Leaders before a PCI by the PL and CO |
