I liked it. I especially liked the idea of screwing the earrings off Helen Hunt without having to marry her.

I saw it in the theatre and thought it was okay, although I was wishing I had waited for the video. Part of that was because of the adverse reaction from those seated around me when I burst into laughter during the "Wilson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" scene.

You don't know if he got the red head.
THAT'S why the movie sucked.

Well, that and the crash sceen with the engine still running.

Tom Hanks is a great actor, but that film flopped

Boring, lame ending, (both) girls get away, and no follow-up film to fill in all the holes. other than that, it was OK

It was decent, that's all.

In the theater, on a huge screen the movie is absolutely beautiful. You feel like you are on that damn island. If you watch it on TV it's just not as good.

I liked it but it was like watching a zombie movie...

I thought it was an awesome movie.  I also found it amazing that just a single person could carry the movie.  Who else but Tom Hanks could do that?

I think TOm Hanks is the greatest actor in the world.  He has flawlessly played a little kid trapped in a man's body, a retard, a war hero, an astronaut, an average joe, and a man who goes crazy being alone for a few years!

Being a music major and lover of all aspects of music except modern music, I thought it was amazing that 95% of the movie had absolutely no music.

Didn't understand everything about the film like why radar didn't know where the plane went down, how the plane went down and what the point of leaving on the raft was--where did he hope to wind up?
