This was my second time seeing it (the first was when it came out in the theaters) and I still think it was a good movie....sad but still well made. What do you guy's think of it?
Loved it.......even felt bad for him when Wilson drifted away.....
I liked it. I especially liked the idea of screwing the earrings off Helen Hunt without having to marry her.
I liked it ok.
I don't think he would have survived tho. I bet not many people would survive in that situation. |
I saw it in the theatre and thought it was okay, although I was wishing I had waited for the video. Part of that was because of the adverse reaction from those seated around me when I burst into laughter during the "Wilson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" scene.

great movie ... especially since he got the redhead ... she was hotter than helen hunt anyways ...
<if you havent seen it yet, dont read above> |
You insensitive asshole....!! |
+1 for the redhead.... and she knew how to weld. |
I would have went back to that hottie red head's place and asked her what she likes for breakfast in bed. |
You don't know if he got the red head.
THAT'S why the movie sucked. Well, that and the crash sceen with the engine still running.

Tom Hanks is a great actor, but that film flopped
Boring, lame ending, (both) girls get away, and no follow-up film to fill in all the holes. other than that, it was OK |
I like it
the survival aspects on the island are the best parts of it |
I liked it. Nothing spectacular, but a decent flick he carried well.
It was stupid. I hated it. I wasted 2 hours watching it. Once was more than enough.
It was Ok I watched it once and had no real urge to see it again.................The Green Mile on the other hand!!!!
It wasn't a "buy it on DVD movie", but it is one you should see once to keep up with discussions around here. Especially in EE Feedback...
WILSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
In the theater, on a huge screen the movie is absolutely beautiful. You feel like you are on that damn island. If you watch it on TV it's just not as good.
I liked it but it was like watching a zombie movie...
"Shit, you dumbass... you're doin it all wrong! OK... there ya go... " - BG |
Well atleast I didn't follow it up with "Jesus people it's a fucking soccer ball!" |
What was in that package he never opened? I thought we would see that.
Would have been better without his relationship with that soccer ball.
I liked it. What was sad about it? He got out of marrying that dumb bitch, and had a shot at the hot welder chick at the end. |
I liked it because of the nice photography but I wouldnt want to watch it again.
I thought it was an awesome movie. I also found it amazing that just a single person could carry the movie. Who else but Tom Hanks could do that?
I think TOm Hanks is the greatest actor in the world. He has flawlessly played a little kid trapped in a man's body, a retard, a war hero, an astronaut, an average joe, and a man who goes crazy being alone for a few years! Being a music major and lover of all aspects of music except modern music, I thought it was amazing that 95% of the movie had absolutely no music. |

I knocked my wife's molar out with a skate blade. |

I didn't take a shower for a year.

Didn't understand everything about the film like why radar didn't know where the plane went down, how the plane went down and what the point of leaving on the raft was--where did he hope to wind up?

There is no "radar" out in the middle of the ocean.
... Oh gawd, if I'm ever having a problem sleeping, I'll run down to Blockbusters and rent that movie
