The Czech Republic. They are intensely jealous of their new found freedom, and they are standing firm against the EU.
Not sure how the gun laws are there. But American greenbacks would go way farther than they do here, and some of those Eastern Block hotties are definately doable! |

In August of 1978, a number of Dutch men came to Sealand in the employ of a German businessman. They were there to discuss business dealings with Sealand. While Roy was away in Britain, these men kidnapped Prince Roy's son Michael, and took Sealand by force. Soon after, Roy recaptured the island with a group of his own men and held the attackers as prisoners of war. During the time that he held the prisoners, the Governments of the Netherlands and Germany petitioned for their release. First they asked England to intervene in the matter, but the British government cited their earlier court decision as evidence that they made no claim to the territory of Sealand. Then, in an act of de facto recognition of Sealand's sovereignty, Germany sent a diplomat directly to Sealand to negotiate for the release of their citizen. Roy first released the Dutch citizens, as the war was over, and the Geneva Convention requires the release of all prisoners. The German was held longer, as he had accepted a Sealand Passport, and therefore was guilty of treason. Prince Roy, who was grateful that the incident had not resulted in a loss of life, and did not want to bloody the reputation of Sealand, eventually released him as well.

Switzerlands gun laws are not as cool as you think they are. The Machine Gun you are allowed in your house is not for personal enjoyment. Also I think you are only allowed 70 rounds of ammo.

Switzerland is great - IF you are a Swiss citizen. If not, well, you'd better have a ton of cash in the bank and know a LOT of the right people, or your chances of being allowed to move their are on par with Sweinstein handing out ARs from the Capitol steps.
Most people in the US have NO IDEA what it is like to be in a country that views you as a total 2nd Class person. The rights the US gives to immigrants are not duplicated anywhere in the world. -Troy |

No one has metioned Finland.
Switzerland would be great, but it is VERY hard to get in and become a citizen. Finland would be my 2nd choice. They like Americans and you have a relative amount of freedom. However, there is no place like the US. Argentina would be very nice if you had a lot of money and knew who to bribe. |

+1 for Texas. However, we would need to turn Austin aka Moscow-on-the-Colorado into an island city like old West Berlin. The only way in or out would be on Southwest Airlines. Also, once a liberal left Texas, they would be barred from returning.
Also, I would prevent our high school athletes from playing for foreign governments, like the University of Oklahoma. We could reconstitute the Southwest Conference with all the talent we have. Arkansas would be banned, as would Cougar High. We would add the University of North Texas and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. We would reconstitute the Militia and start issuing full auto to those good conservatives who pass a weapons proficiency course. Shiner Bock would be available in vending machines. |
