"I killed that car good!"
It's about time digruntled postal workers had a safe place to indiscriminately spray Uzi fire
without fear of reprisal: Welcome to Knob Creek Gun Range in scenic West Point, Kentucy.
Forget pistols and paintballs: This shooting gallery allows machine guns, assault rifles, and -
sweet Lord - flamethowers. This month Knob Creek hosts it's infamous biannual Machine Gun
Shoot, where approximately 10,000 gun-toting Steven Segal wannabes convene to unleash hell on
unsuspecting boats, junked cars, and appliances. If you don't own any automatic weaponry, local
vendors will rent you some - provided you're not a midget. "There's a strict height restriction
of four foot nine for machine guns" says Kenny Sumner, owner of Knob Creek for the past 22 years.
"But all ages are welcome to shoot". So, screw Chuck E. Cheese - here's the birthday part hot
spot. To obey the voices in your head, check out knobcreek.com or dial xxx-xxx-xxxx....but not
with your trigger finger.
